Just when you thought the 11th hour accusations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh couldn’t get any uglier-boom! Never underestimate the depths to which the left will stoop to achieve their desired ends. In the latest allegation, Kavanaugh is actually accused by Julie Swetnick of participating in drugging and gang raping girls while he was a 15-16 year old high school student.
There are many issues with Swetnick’s story. The most obvious is the conduit she has chosen to tell her story and represent her, Michael Avenatti. Avenatti is the rabid vocal anti- Trump attorney who represents porn star Stormy Daniels. Fox News’ Tucker Carlson has appropriately dubbed Avenatti the Creepy Porn Lawyer. Not only is Avenatti determined to destroy Trump’s presidency he has also announced interest in running for president in 2020.
In a sworn declaration Swetnick contends that she attended “over ten house parties’ in the Washington D.C area during the period between 1981-1983 in which both Brett Kavanaugh and Mark Judge (a friend and classmate of Kavanaugh’s) were in attendance. She claims that she has seen both men drink excessively, fondle and grab girls without their consent, and she heard Kavanaugh make verbally abusive sexual comments to girls.
Swetnick’s most shocking claim is that in 1981-1982 she learned that Kavanaugh, Judge, and others were spiking the punch at parties with grain alcohol and drugs so they could gang rape young women. Yes, apparently there was a serial gang rape ring three plus decades ago, with many victims, but not one has come forward, other than Swetnick…on the eve of Kavanaugh’s hearing…using carnival barker, anti-Trump attorney, Michael Avenatti as her mouthpiece.
In spite of the passage of time, and Kavanaugh’s claim that he was a virgin until well after college, Swetnick contends that she has a “firm recollection” of seeing both Kavanaugh and Judge lined up outside of a room, with other boys, waiting their turn to take part in the gang rape of an incapacitated girl. No mention that Swetnick took any action to try and rescue the victim of this alleged horrific event.
Is anyone supposed to believe that numerous girls were drugged and gang raped 37 years ago, over a period of two years, yet not one went to the police, their parents, or a teacher, at the time the crimes occurred, or ever? Kavanugh has already completed six background checks for the FBI, related to the various positions he has held, including the White House Staff Secretary in the George W. Bush administration, and his current position as a United States circuit judge. If the FBI uncovered any evidence of crimes of this nature Kavanaugh never would have been cleared by the FBI to have the highest possible security clearance, as required when he was part of the Bush administration.
Swetnick is two years older than Kavanaugh. if she actually was present at these alleged high school parties from 1981-1983 she would have been in college. Why would an 18-20 year old woman attend “well over ten house parties” with high school boys 16- 18 years old? It is also alleged that she was aware that young girls were being drugged and raped, yet she continued to attend these parties, and told no one that such horrific acts were occurring.
Incredibly, she claims that in 1982 she was drugged and raped at one of these parties, in which both Kavanaugh and Judge were present, yet not only didn’t she go to the police, or tell anyone, she continued to attend the parties until 1983.
It’s interesting that Swetnick’s allegations make reference to “numerous boys”, yet only Kavanaugh and Judge are called out by name. Conveniently, the only other person, besides Kavanaugh, named in Swetnicks’ statement is Judge. Judge has been in the news, rebuking the accusations made by Kavanaugh’s first accuser, Chrisine Ford.
As reported by the The New York Times none of Swetnick’s claims could be independently corroborated, and she has refused interview requests.
According to Politico, Swetnick’s ex-boyfriend, Richard Vinneccy, filed a restraining order against her in 2001. Vinneccy stated to Politico- “Right after I broke up with her, she was threatening my family, threatening my wife, and threatening to do harm to my baby at that time.” “I know a lot about her.” She’s not credible at all.”
Many on the left believe the accusers simply because they came forward. Reasoning, that if they weren’t telling the truth what could possibly be motivating them. Have they seen the unhinged hate directed at Trump? Did they miss Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings? It’s hard to put anything past rabid anti- Trump zealots.
Contrary to many liberal lawmakers, and many in the media, innocent until proven guilty isn’t a tenet only reserved for the court of law. It is a rule in any situation of all civilized societies. The onus to prove innocence should never be on the accused. In many cases it’s difficult, if not impossible to prove that something did not happen, especially in this case when the allegations are more than 35 years old.
In Kavanaugh’s defense the White House has distributed a letter sent to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, and Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein, signed by 60 Georgetown Prep or sister schools students vouching for Kavanaugh’s character, and claiming that they have never “met someone named Julie Swetnick.”
In a new letter signed by 60 classmates of Brett Kavanaugh they say they have literally never even met a woman named Julie Swetnick (Avenatti’s client) pic.twitter.com/FJKqSppFT6

Thankfully President Trump, Senator Lindsey Graham, and other Republicans see through the shameful way that the left has weaponized the “Me Too” movement in an attempt to derail this confirmation. In reality Kavanaugh will probably squeak through his confirmation, and the Republican base will be fired up just in time for the midterm elections!
