Biden’s presidency has been such a disaster that even Democrats and the liberal media are turning against him.
The liberal-biased New York Times, which usually runs cover for Biden, published a damning report questioning Biden’s fitness for office and whether the Democratic party would fare better without him in 2024.
After interviewing Democratic officials and Biden voters, the Times concluded that many Democrats are
“worrying about Mr. Biden’s leadership, his age and his capability to take the fight to former President Donald J. Trump a second time”.
A member of the Democratic National committee from Miami interviewed by the Times stated,
“To say our country was on the right track would flagrantly depart from reality.”
According to the Times, nearly all those interviewed have “a deep concern” about the “president’s age” and “political viability”.
Partisan “news” anchor Don Lemon has also expressed skepticism that Biden is up for the job. The CNN host pressed White House press secretary Karine Jean Pierre asking her:
“Does the president have the stamina, physically and mentally, do you think to continue on even after 2024?”
Pierre scoffed at the question ridiculously asserting that she “can’t even keep with him.” Sure. If that is true, she should seek immediate medical attention.
An op-ed in Politico analyzing who should be the Democratic nominee in 2024 points out that when Ronald Reagan was president, he was the oldest elected president ever. When he left the White House eight years later, in obvious mental decline, he was only 77- younger than Biden was the day his presidency began.
A recent New York Times/Siena College poll found that 26% of Democratic voters do not want their party to nominate Biden to run in the 2024 presidential election. According to the same survey, only 33% of Americans approve of his job performance as president.
It is refreshing that liberal stalwarts, many of whom publicly aided Biden’s presidential campaign, are finally being somewhat truthful and admitting the obvious- Biden is not physically up to the job. However, they neglect to acknowledge that Biden’s failing mental acuity is not solely to blame for our nation’s calamities.
During the presidential campaign, the media portrayed Biden as a moderate Democrat- this was a lie. Biden’s campaign platform hardly differed from the positions of radical leftists like Senator Bernie Sanders. Irrespective of Biden’s evident mental decline, it is his far-left policy changes that have ravaged our nation.
Like Sanders, Biden believes that racism and injustice are systemically embedded in our nation- a problem only the redistributionist’s powers of the government can solve. On the campaign trail, Biden also made clear that he wanted open borders. Recall a 2019 Democratic primary debate where he stated that illegal migrants should “surge to the border”. Biden also embraced the Green New Deal and vowed to end the fossil fuel industry.
Biden made good on many of his radical promises. In only his first months in office Biden: reversed almost all of the Trump-era immigration enforcement policies, killed major oil pipelines- including the Keystone XL pipeline, banned new oil and gas leases on federal lands and waters, implemented a myriad of environmental regulations, revised standards prompting the largest, permanent increase in food stamp benefits in the program’s history, and passed a $1.9 trillion social spending bill disguised as a covid relief bill.
As a result of Biden’s policies: illegal immigration soared to historical levels, gas prices are the highest in history and climbing, crime is surging, the labor force participation rate declined, inflation soared to a 40-year-high, the stock market has cratered, and a recession is looming.
Biden also supports the left’s extreme positions on critical race theory and youth transgenderism. On the latter, Biden recently signed an executive order increasing access to “gender affirming care” for transgender minors. Never mind that a study cited by the Florida Department of Health found that 80% of youths who seek clinical care for gender dysphoria grow to lose the desire to identify with the non-birth sex.
Biden’s radical and failing policies, not his age or his faltering cognitive abilities, have caused him to plummet in national polling. No one is buying Biden’s “Putin Price Hike” lie. Even Federal Reserve chairman Jerome Powell when asked at a Senate hearing if “the war in Ukraine is the primary driver of inflation in America?” replied:
”No. Inflation was high before. Certainly before the war in Ukraine broke out.”
When Biden took office, inflation was 1.4%. Before the Russian invasion of Ukraine, inflation had already soared to 7% and is now at 9.1%. Many economists, including Democrat economist Larry Summers, Obama/Biden’s top economic advisor, believe that Biden’s $1.9 trillion American Rescue plan was the “least responsible macroeconomic policy” the US has enacted in the past four decades.
Before the “Covid relief” bill was passed (without the support of a single Republican), Summers accurately warned that it would ignite inflation. Summers is also predicting that the US economy is heading into a recession.
Americans know who to blame for the faltering economy. June’s IBD/TIPP monthly survey found that 64% of those polled believe Biden’s policies were either “responsible” or “very responsible for inflation. The same poll found that even 53% of Democrats believe Biden’s policies are to blame for inflation.
Biden has been such a failure for our country that Americans who historically vote Democratic are defecting to the Republican Party. The latest polling indicates that only 24% of Hispanics approve of Biden’s job performance as president. For the first time in more than 100 years, an 84% Hispanic District in Texas elected a Republican to Congress in a special election last month.
Biden’s support among black voters is also waning. According to a recent Washington Post-Ipsos poll, only 7 in 10 black Americans approve of his job performance, down from 9 in 10 who supported him during the 2020 election.
Polling indicates that Biden is the most unpopular second-year president since Gallup began tracking presidential approval ratings in 1945. Even Trump, who had the media, Hollywood, higher education, the FBI, and the Democratic Party attempting to destroy his presidency with 24/7 attacks, had a higher approval rating than Biden at this point in his presidency.
No- It is not Putin’s price hike or even Biden’s mental decline- it is the policies Democratic voters elected him to enact that have failed our nation. Unfortunately, the media and their fellow liberals will never admit the truth.
