Newly released documents provides further proof that the FBI’s investigations into President Trump and Lt. General Michael Flynn were rife with corruption and bias.
Revelations from FBI Agent Willaim Barnett
FBI agent William Barnett, who worked on the FBI investigation of Trump’s former National Security Advisor, Mike Flynn, (code name Operation Razor) and the Robert Mueller Special Counsel probe, made startling revelations during a recent FBI interview. A summary of this interview was included in a recent filing in the defense of Flynn.
For starters, Barnett expressed that the predication in the Flynn investigation was “not good”, and he questioned why the FBI even opened the probe. According to Barnett, the prosecution of Flynn was just a means for the Mueller team to “get Trump”.
He stated that the Flynn probe was so problematic that he asked for removal from the case because he feared that it would result in an Inspector General investigation.
When asked to join Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel team, Barnett was resistant because he believed that evidence of Russian collusion was “not there”. However, he relented and joined the team to protect them from “group think”.
Evidencing that the FBI probes into Trump and his campaign were not neutral investigations in search of truth, Barnett stated that there was a “get Trump” attitude among some on Mueller’s team. Sounding as if he were describing the U.S. mainstream media, Barnett claimed that Special Counsel team members often interpreted incidents involving Trump in the most negative manner possible, and in some cases, misinterpreted them.
As an example, Barnett stated that the firing of FBI Director James Comey was interpreted as obstruction of the investigation when it was conceivable that the firing was simply the result of Trump not liking Comey.
He claimed that he and others joked about how the Russian collusion investigation was like a game that they referred to as “collusion clue”. In the hypothetical game, pairing any character with any activities always resulted as evidence of “collusion”.
After Mueller took over the investigation, Barnett asserted that the process was “upside down”. He stated that investigators were considered just a “speed bump” to the prosecutors who led the probe.
Further, rather than let the evidence lead the investigation, there was an assumption of guilt and an attitude of “the evidence is there we just have to find it”, according to Barnett.
Explosive Internal FBI Messages
Further impugning the integrity of the James Comey led FBI, Attorney General William Barr disclosed explosive new internal FBI messages, discovered by U.S. Attorney John Durham, who Barr tasked with investigating the origins of the Russian collusion investigation.
Incredibly, shortly before Trump’s inauguration in January 2017, agents were so concerned about the exposure of the agency’s activities regarding their investigation into Trump that, according to an agent, they “all went and purchased professional liability insurance” for protection.
They also expressed a fear of the uncovering of their activities from a Freedom of Information request. “If this ever gets FOIA’d there are going to be some tough questions. Another agent responded that the problem is “a scope way outside the boundaries of logic.” An agent agreed, replying that one of the team members engaged in “rabbit holes and conspiracy theories.”
The text exchanges also reveal that in early November 2016 the FBI had planned to close the investigation into Flynn. But, instead, they issued National Security Letters (subpoenas that do not require judicial permission) to look at Flynn’s financial records.
Further exchanges between agents indicate that the use of NSL letters was not even a “logical investigative step”, but just an excuse to keep the investigation open. According to an agent, “the decision to NSL finances for razor bought him time”
A series of messages from January 5, 2017- the day Comey briefed Obama, Joe Biden, and Susan Rice on the Flynn and Trump investigations reveal that some agents were worried about accounting for their actions. One agent asked, “What’s the word on how O’s briefing went? Another replied, “Don’t know but people are scrambling for info to support certain things, and its a madhouse.”
An agent even admitted that “Trump was right. Still not put together…What is wrong with these people.” The exact meaning behind this text is unclear. However, days prior, Trump tweeted accusing the FBI of delaying his briefing on Russian interference because his opponents needed more time to build a case against him .
The “Intelligence” briefing on so-called “Russian hacking” was delayed until Friday, perhaps more time needed to build a case. Very strange!

FBI Relied Upon Russian Disinformation
Unbelievably, documents released by Senate Judiciary Chairman, Lindsey Graham indicates that in their quest to prove that Trump colluded with Russia, the FBI colluded with…. a suspected Russian agent.
As revealed last year in Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report, Christopher Steele relied on one Primary Sub-source, Igor Danchenko, for the majority of his infamous now-debunked dossier on Trump and Russia collusion. Horowitz also revealed that in January and March 2017 the FBI interviewed Danchenko, who admitted that most of the nefarious allegations in the dossier were based on unverified information from third and fourth-hand accounts.
The latest disclosure, uncovered by Durham in his probe of the origins of the Russian collusion investigation, reveals that Danchenko was the subject of an FBI investigation from 2009 -2011. According to the documents, Danchenko had contact with “the Russian Embassy and known Russian intelligence officers.” The only reason that the FBI ended their probe was that Danchenko was unable to renew his Visa and left the United States.
The FBI knew by December 2016 that Danchenko was the subject of a prior FBI investigation and was a suspected Russian agent. Shockingly, despite this knowledge, the FBI used the dossier as the bulk of the evidence in three subsequent applications to spy on American citizen Trump campaign aide Carter Page.
Not only did the FBI continue to use the dossier as evidence against Trump to spy on his campaign, but they also: briefed President-elect Trump on it and allowed it to leak to the press, leading to years of investigations. The FBI, and then the Special Counsel investigation, cast a shadow over Trump and his entire administration, miring our country in division and turmoil.
Interestingly, for years the mainstream media has relentlessly perpetuated the narrative that Trump colluded with Russia, but are now mostly silent on the revelations of the corruption that created and drove the false allegation.
The American people deserve to know the extent of malfeasance by the FBI under the direction of the Obama/Biden administration. Hopefully, answers come before its too late.
